Well, ladies and gentlemen, my senior prom was last night…
AND I FINALLY PICKED A BOOK TO READ!!
The morning after prom last year i felt COMPELLED to read William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream; it was just too fitting for the situation..
So this morning I woke up, thought back on the fun and excitement of the night before and it immediately came to me..A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM!!
It’s that sad, sad morning I have anticipated..
When I begin a book, I cannot help but bring it everywhere with me, read it for marathon hours, as well as any little free moment I may grasp. So, as you may imagine, I was completely disheartened when I woke up this morning and went to grab The Hobbit, but realized I finished it last night…
What do I do? I’m so adjusted to Bilbo’s little sarcastic comments and the nonsensical Bombur and Bofur..I feel lost, as if I’ve been coldy dropped off in some unknown, uncharted territory, now forced to excavate my survival…
I guess it’s time to get wrapped up in another book…The Age of Innocence? Pride & Prejudice (again!) ? The Canterbury Tales? Sherlock Holmes? The Boy with the Cuckoo Clock Heart? Night Circus? or One Day? SO MANY DECISIONS!
